My Kickstarter fundraiser was successfully closed on January 1, 2010! The transfer of funds is now complete and I have already begun spending the money on bulk amounts of wool, yarn for rewards, and the prepping of the materials!

Once it’s warm the yurt building will begin! If you’re feeling like you still want to get involved you can mail checks to:

Kate Pokorny

PO Box 391

Jaffrey, NH 03452

I have a feeling that much like everything else that happened with the yurt there will be unexpected expenses so if you send a post-Kickstarter check just tell me what kind of reward you’d like — photo, mini-yurts etc. and I’ll happily make you the equivalent still! Thanks a MILLION without all the donors this wouldn’t have been possible!

  2. Hello. I would like to donate. I have a yurt in central London (the nearest yurt in the world to a tube!), and it was this year one of the star attractions out of 700 buildings in London’s ‘Open House.’ It will take a lot of work to crochet..but I’ll figure out the donation maze and hope it will give you some encouragement. Good Luck!! Katherine

  3. Hi Katherine,
Thank you so much for your support and donation — I love hearing about other people’s yurts! If you need any help figuring out the system just let me know. I’d love to hear more about your yurt and how living in it has been!
